This, That, and The Other

Check up  :)

Klein is carrying two bags, his own and his buddy's bag.  I asked why he had two bags because I thought he may have accidentally picked up an extra.  He responded, "She was struggling so I offered to carry hers for her".  I could not have been more happy for him.

Locker decorations!  Super cute.  Not done yet though - we're in the process of adding magnetic picture frames.

New deck  :)

Killing time in dad's office at church.  I had 5 hours of church at a ward in Columbia so our 3 littles spent the morning in dad's office because he only had 4 hours....ha.  They were troopers for sure!

FIRST Day of School

Emery had a half day of school on Tuesday.  It was an introduction day for rising 6th graders.  I must admit, I was nervous for her.  Middle school is hard....at least for me.  I feel as though her innocence is slowly seeping away....such a bummer.  BUT, she came home all smiles and said she had a great time.  I can only hope and pray it lasts....her enthusiasm AND her innocence.  ;)
Snow Cones - one more treat before school starts.  (Notice Riggs only likes ice, no flavoring.  Funny kid.)
Our favorite "Night Before School" tradition.

A Day at Sea

Our last day on the ship was spent at sea. We made the most of it and had a great time! WHAT A VACATION! :) We thoroughly enjoyed it....and can't wait to do it again!
A quick dip in the kiddie pool.  We were the only ones around for a while.  It was nice to have it all to ourselves.

We spent most of the day on the pool deck - swimming, eating, and watching movies.  :)

Klein enjoyed the splash pad.
After we were "done" with the sun, we headed to a movie before we ate dinner - "Alice Through the Looking Glass".

Dinner in the "Enchanted Garden" Room.

We climbed one million steps while on board.  Well, maybe not one million but close to it.  We stayed on deck 12 (the top deck for rooms).  The only thing else above us was another outdoor deck.  Most everything else was near or around decks 4 and 5.  We took the elevator 3 times - when we arrived, when we left, and one time because we didn't want to be late for a show.  Considering everything we ate, we were all fairly happy to take the stairs.  :)
A good bed head means a good nights rest before the drive home.  He was also super happy he got the top bunk.

Sleepy heads.  (Klein is sleeping, not looking down.)

Castaway Cay

Before heading onto Disney's Island, Castaway Cay, we all rode The Aqua Duck one last time.  We rode it right when we got on the ship (ran to our room, changed clothes, then hit the water slide!).  After that, the line was always a little long.  So when the ship docked at Castaway Cay, most of the passengers headed onto the island.    The line was short so we rode it twice.  That's Rob's hand you see and Klein in front of him.
Em and I ran the "Castaway Cay 5K".  It was a hot and humid morning but we did it!  Em did a great job keeping up.

The Disney Dream at Castaway Cay  :)

A bike ride on the island.  This was before the downpour.

After waiting out the rain (for about 30 mins), Em was finally able to snorkel.  She loves it.  She and Rob went out for about 30 mins or so while I hung with the boys on the beach.  When they got back, Riggs and I went out for about 15 mins., just so he could say he had done it.  He liked it but was a little intimidated.  He probably got that from me.  When he was done, Em and I went out for another half hour.  We saw lots of fish, a sting ray, and a sea turtle.  Very neat!

Pirate Night at dinner time!

Shuffle Board.  Klein's new obsession on the ship.  Once he played, he kept asking when he could play again.

Nassau, Bahamas

After a short stint on the beach, we all were ready to get back to the comforts of a ship - the pool, fun movies, and endless treats.
Before dinner, we played an interactive computer game that took you all over the ship to try to solve a mystery.   Very neat and creative.  They kids really enjoyed it.  (Notice Em's hair.  She had it braided on the ship.  She said it hurt like crazy, lol.  At least it looked cute :)

Pics before dinner - Atlantis in the background.

Dinner in the Animator's Palate.  Very fun environment.  If you ask Riggs, he is no longer a fan of "Crush" the sea turtle.  Crush couldn't quite get Riggs' name right when he was talking to him from the large screen behind him.  It was pretty funny.

Vanellope's Sweets
There was a (broadway type) show every evening at 8:30pm.  We all really enjoyed them!
The ship at night.  There was always a movie playing.  We stopped by a few times while eating a treat on the way back to our room.
Bed time!
AND room service at midnight  :)  Those are some extremely large delicious chocolate chip cookies.
